Removing Rear Anti-Roll Bar

Information 

• The anti-roll bar can only be removed together with connecting links. 

1. Disconnect control unit for Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM) -1-  from the holder -2-  on the left anti-roll bar clamp.
   1. 1.1 Release locking mechanism on control unit for Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM) in -direction of arrow-  .
   2. 1.2 Disconnect control unit for Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM) -1-  from holder -2-  in -direction of arrow-  and secure it at a suitable position.

2. Unscrew screws -2-  for the level sensors -1-  on the lower trailing arm -3-  .

3. Disconnect connecting links for anti-roll bar -1-  from lower trailing arm.
   1. 3.1 Loosen nut -3-  and counter at screw -2-  at the same time.
   2. 3.2 Unscrew screw -4-  .

4. Wrap a suitable cloth around the lower trailing arm -1-  to prevent damage to the anti-roll bar and trailing arm.

5. Remove anti-roll bar clamps -1-  .

   Rear anti-roll bar clamp

   1. 5.1 Unscrew screws -2-  on the anti-roll bar clamps -1-  .
   2. 5.2 Remove holder for control unit for Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM) -3-  from the left anti-roll bar clamp -1-  .
   3. 5.3 Remove anti-roll bar clamp -1-  .

   Information 

   Do not damage the paintwork on the anti-roll bar during removal and installation.

6. Remove the rear anti-roll bar -1-  with anti-roll bar connecting link by pulling it down and out. When doing this make sure that the rear level sensors are not damaged.
