Checking Rear-Axle Mounts

Information 

All rubber-metal mounts must be checked for damage. In the event of a fault, the mount on the opposite side must also be replaced.

Information 

To replace the rubber-metal mounts, the rear axle housing must be lowered at the front or rear:

• Before removing the rubber-metal mounts, mark the installation position with respect to the rear axle housing. 
• The rear axle housing must be lowered alternately at the front or rear. 
• The rear axle housing must not be lowered by more than 4 cm.
