Preliminary Work

  1. Remove engine cover (design cover).

    > 108319 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE COVER (DESIGN COVER) 

  2. Remove air cleaner housing.

    > 242519 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING AIR CLEANER HOUSING

  3. Remove front strut.

    > 408619 - REMOVE AND INSTALL FRONT STRUT

    4 V6 Turbo only: 

    Disconnect pressure hose from throttle housing.

    > 244219 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING THROTTLE HOUSING

  4. Only for R4: 

    Loosen the pressure pipe from the body and pressure hose on the engine side.

    > 214119 - REMOVE AND INSTALL PRESSURE PIPE (R4)
