Preparing Convertible Top For Hot-Steam Cleaning

Hot-steam cleaning can reduce or remove shiny spots and creases.

- 1.1 Recommendation:
Use the ceramic cleaner attachment.
When using the ceramic cleaner attachment: Place the attachment on the convertible top covering without pressure and move it over the convertible top covering in slow, even strokes as you would when ironing fabric.

- 1.2 Alternatively:
Use the nozzle attachment.
When using the nozzle attachment: Maintain a distance of approx. 50 mm to 100 mm from the convertible top. Move the attachment over the convertible top covering in slow, even strokes as you would when ironing fabric.
Using nozzle attachment
- 1.1 Recommendation:
Use the ceramic cleaner attachment.
- Close the convertible top and leave it to dry following hot-steam cleaning.
Information
Let the convertible top dry completely before use.
- Impregnate the convertible top with convertible top care product from the Tequipment care case, Cabriolet.
Spray convertible top care product evenly and lightly from a distance of approx. 10 to 20 cm. Do not spray on glass, polyglass or painted surfaces and protect these surfaces from spray mist. Apply 2 or 3 times to seams if necessary. Only spray for a few seconds. Leave to dry off well following application. Do not apply in strong sunlight or on heated surfaces.
