Removing Trailer Hitch

Information 

• Always replace self-locking nuts and screws. 

Information 

• Another person is needed for removing and installing the trailer hitch because of its weight. 

1. Disconnect electric plug connections on wire harness for trailer hitch.

   1. 1.1  Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  .
   2. 1.2  Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2-  .
2. Disconnect wire harness for trailer hitch -1-  .

   Wire harness for trailer hitch

   1. 2.1  Loosen wire harness for trailer hitch -1-  from holder -2-  and clip -3-  .
   2. 2.2  Press sleeve -4-  out through the body and guide wire harness for trailer hitch -1-  outwards.
3. Unscrew screws -1-  for trailer hitch.

4. Carefully pull trailer hitch -1-  back -Arrow-  and unclip retaining clip -2-  for wire harness for trailer hitch -3-  .

5. Remove trailer hitch.
