Removing Rear-View Mirror

Information 

• The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment. 
• The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant. 
• Some steps must be carried out automatically. 
• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. 

1. Remove rear-view mirror -4-  .

   Rear-view mirror

   1. 1.1  Fasten cord as a pulling aid to the electric wire harness -6-  .
   2. 1.2  Release and disconnect electric plug connections -1-  .
   3. 1.3  Guide rubber seal -2-  out of the door inner panel.
   4. 1.4  Remove adhesive pad -3-  .
   5. 1.5  Hold rear-view mirror -4-  securely and unscrew screw -5-  .
   6. 1.6  Remove rear-view mirror -4-  and guide wire harness -6-  out of the door.
   7. 1.7  Loosen cord at the wire harness.
