Installing Number Plate Cover

Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
Information

CAUTION: Self-tapping screws are used to secure the number plate cover. When fitting the number plate cover for the first time (e.g. on a new front apron), the screws can be screwed directly into the front apron. There is no need to drill any holes.
During initial fitting or after replacing the front apron, the following steps must be carried out:
Remove any guide pins -5- on the number plate cover.

Centre the number plate cover, making sure that the side contour is positioned correctly -Arrow- .

Tighten screws -3 and 4- to > Tightening - torque 2.5 Nm (1.75 ftlb.) .

Tighten screws -1- to > Tightening - torque 2.5 Nm (1.75 ftlb.) .
