Removing Rear-View Mirror Housing (Upper Part)

Information 

• The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment. 
• The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant. 
• Some steps must be carried out automatically. 
• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. 

1. Loosen rear-view mirror housing (upper part) -2-  .

   Rear-view mirror housing (upper part)

   1. 1.1  Unscrew screws -1-  from rear-view mirror housing (upper part) -2-  .
   2. 1.2  Move rear-view mirror housing (upper part) -2-  in the lower, front area forward and up at the same time -Arrows-  and unclip it from rear-view mirror housing (lower part).
   3. 1.3  Unclip rear-view mirror housing (lower part) from brackets -3-  on the direction indicator light.
   4. 1.4  Guide rear-view mirror housing (upper part) -2-  out of the brackets -4-  and lift it up until the electric plug connections are accessible.
2. Remove rear-view mirror housing (upper part) -2-  .

   2. 2.2  Remove rear-view mirror housing (upper part) -2-  .
