Removing Wiring For PARKASSIST

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle or a similar component. 
• Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well.

Wire harness

1. Disconnect electric plug connections -1-  at the reversing lights -2-  .

   1. 1.1 Cut tie-wrap -3-  .
   2. 1.2 Release and unplug electric plug connection > Electric plug connections  .
2. Only for vehicles with reversing camera: 

   Disconnect electric plug connections -1-  for the reversing camera.

   1. 2.1 Remove wire harness for ParkAssist -2-  from holder -3-  .
   2. 2.2 Cut tie-wrap -4-  .
   3. 2.3 Release and unplug electric plug connections -1-  .
3. Remove wiring for ParkAssist -1-  from holders -2-  .
4. Release electric plug connections -3-  at the number plate lights and pull them off.

5. Release electric plug connections from ParkAssist sensor -1-  (-arrow 3-  ) and disconnect them -arrow 2-  .

6. Release and unplug electric plug connection -1-  .

7. Pull all holders -1-  for wiring for ParkAssist -2-  off the rear apron and remove wiring for ParkAssist -2-  .
