Installing Wire Harness For Engine (R4)

NOTIFICATION 

Incorrect line routing 

• Risk of damage to lines and hoses 
• Malfunction and fault memory entry on control unit 

  → Avoid small bending radii when routing lines.

  → File down edges and burrs in the routing area or mask them with adhesive tape.

  → Maintain a sufficient distance from components exposed to high temperatures while driving.

• When installing the wire harness, make sure that the individual wiring harnesses do not become twisted or entangled. 
• The wire harness must be installed back in its original routing. 
• If cable retainers, anti-chafing elements or guides were removed during removal, these must be re-attached at their original positions during installation. 

1. Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:

Tighten fastening screws -1-  for ground lines on cylinder head to > Tightening - torque 6.5 Nm (4.75 ftlb.)  .
