Preliminary Work

1. Disconnect the battery.

   > 270619 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM BATTERY

2. Removing wiper link.

   > 921919 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING WIPER LINK

3. Loosen coolant reservoir.

   > 194019 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING COOLANT RESERVOIR (R4)

4. In the engine compartment, remove front strut.

   > 408619 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT STRUT

5. Remove DME control unit and holder.

   > 247019 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING DME CONTROL UNIT

6. Removing engine cover (design cover).

   > 108319 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE COVER (DESIGN COVER) (R4)

7. Remove front underbody cover.

   > Refer to appropriate service information

8. Remove centre underbody cover
