Preliminary Work For Main Wire Harness In Engine Compartment At The Right

1. Disconnect battery ground strap.

   > 2X00IN - WORK INSTRUCTIONS AFTER DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY

2. Remove glove compartment.

   > 681519 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING GLOVE COMPARTMENT

3. Remove front side-section trim panel at the right.

   > 702419 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SIDE-SECTION TRIM PANEL

4. Remove cover behind the right headlight.

   > 700219 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT TRIM PANEL

5. Remove right front wheel.

   > 440519 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL

6. Remove front wheel housing liner at the right.

   > Refer to appropriate service information

7. Only for vehicles with auxiliary heating: 

Remove complete heater.

> 822019 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING HEATER
