Removing Tail Light

1. Unclip electric plug connection -1-  at the body and release -arrows A-  and disconnect it.

2. Remove connector holder -3-  from the connector.

3. Remove cover -2-  .

   1. 3.1 Pull seal -1-  in the tail light area off the body seam.
   2. 3.2 Disengage cover -2-  at the sides -arrow A-  from the two clamps -3-  .
   3. 3.3 Disengage cover by pulling it forward -arrow B-  out of the tail light seam -4-  .
4. Only for left tail light: 

   Loosen bracket -1-  for hose for cleaning nozzle for reversing camera from the rear retaining strip -2-  .

5. Only for left tail light: 

   Disengage holder -3-  (-arrows A-  ), remove it from the rear retaining strip and leave it hanging with the line connected.

6. Loosen rear retaining strip -2-  .

   1. 6.1 Screw off fastening nuts -1-  .
   2. 6.2 If fitted: Unscrew fastening screw -3-  .
7. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  on the tail light -2-  .

8. Remove tail light -1-  with rear retaining strip -2-  .

9. Disengage locking mechanism -1-  and remove rear retaining strip -2-  from the tail light -3-  .

10. Only if replacing the tail light -3- : 

Pull adjustment device -4-  off the tail light -3-  .
