Removing Dashboard Insert

  1. Move steering column to its lowest, rearmost position.
  2. Unclip bottom of dashboard inset -1-  at the left, right and in the middle from the dashboard using a plastic wedge -2-  .

  3. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  and remove plastic insulating plates -2-  between dashboard inset at the top -3-  and dashboard.

  4. Loosen dashboard inset at the top -2-  and detach it from the dashboard.

    1. 4.1  Carefully push in plastic squeegee -1-  between the dashboard inset at the top -2-  and dashboard.
    2. 4.2  Detach dashboard inset at the top -2-  in area -a-  .
  5. Remove dashboard inset at the top -1-  .

    1. 5.1  Position a plastic squeegee -2-  and plastic wedge -3-  close to the fastening pins -a-  between the dashboard inset at the top -1-  and dashboard.
    2. 5.2  Disengage fastening pins -a-  at the left and right by pulling them horizontally to the rear.
    3. 5.3  Remove dashboard inset at the top -1-  .
