Checking And Topping Up Oil For Final Drive

WARNING: Hot fluid

Danger of scalding
1. → Let the fluid cool down.
2. → Wear personal protective gear.

Information

Oil must come up to the lower edge of the inspection and filler bore.

Check the oil in the final drive -1- .

Final drive
1. 1.1 Unscrew inspection plug and filler screw -2- .
  1. 1.1.1 Replace screw.
2. 1.2 Check oil level and if necessary top up oil with > VAS 6563 - manual metering pumps, Porsche set .
3. 1.3 Collect emerging oil and clean sealing faces.
4. 1.4 Fit and tighten new inspection and filler plug -2- .
  - Tightening torque 35 Nm (26 ftlb.)
