Installing Sealing Ring For Halfshaft Flange (Rear Final Drive)

Information 

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is almost identical.

1. Install new  sealing ring for halfshaft flange.

   Sealing ring and pressure pieces

   1. 1.1  Clean the sealing surface of the sealing ring.
   2. 1.2  Oil the outer edges of the halfshaft-flange sealing ring slightly.
   3. 1.3  Drive in halfshaft-flange sealing ring as far as it will go using the relevant pressure piece
      1. 1.3.1  > 9880 - Pressure piece-1-  must be used for the right side.
      2. 1.3.2  > 9880/1 - Pressure piece-2-  must be used for the left side.
