Removing Control Arm

Control arm at front-axle carrier

1. 1.1 Unscrew screw securing control arm to front-axle carrier -2-  and counter at the nut -3-  at the same time.

Control arm at wheel bearing housing

1. 2.1 Unscrew nut -2-  as far as required from joint pin for tie-rod ball -3-  until it is flush with the upper edge of the joint pin -3-  .
2. 2.2 Press off axle joint on control arm -1-  using > T10187 - ball joint puller  and remove it from the wheel bearing housing -4-  .
3. 2.3 Unscrew nut -2-  from joint pin -3-  on the control arm -1-  , counter at the hexagon socket of the joint pin -3-  and remove control arm -1-  from the wheel bearing housing -4-  .
