Removing upper part of rear cross member

Information 

Loosen connection points on one side only. Do not damage the sheet-metal panel underneath.

1. Drill out spotwelds using > VAS 882 001 - spot-weld breaker  .

2. Heat the marked bonding areas using > V.A.G 1416 - hot-air blower  .

3. Remove upper part of rear cross member.
