Removing Roof Pillar

Information 

Loosen connection points on one side only. Do not damage the sheet-metal panel underneath.

1. Drill out spotwelds using > VAS 882 001 - spot-weld breaker  .

2. Drill out spot-welds using a > VAS 882 001 - spot-weld remover  .

   Joints

   1. 2.1  If necessary, cut a notch -LHD vehicle -  on the roof bow to make the concealed welding point accessible.
3. Heat the marked bonding area using > V.A.G 1416 - hot-air blower  .

4. Remove roof pillar.
