Preparing Front Longitudinal Member (Rear Cut)

Information 

Make sure not to damage the reinforcement -1-  on the longitudinal member when cutting.

Reinforcement

1. Cut outer front longitudinal member according to the old part and body and fit it in.

2. Cut inner front longitudinal member according to the old part and body and fit it in.

3. Drill holes for plug-welding using a drill bit with a diameter of > Diameter 8 mm

4. Prepare marked areas on the outer front longitudinal member for joining.

   Joint areas

   A	Bonding + resistance spot-welding.
   	> 5X00IN21 WORKING WITH BODY STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE PAH.071.781.00
   B	Apply a full steel weld.

5. Prepare marked areas on the inner front longitudinal member for joining.

   A	Bonding + resistance spot-welding.

   B	Apply a full steel weld.

6. Prepare marked areas on the impact absorber plate for plug-welding.
