Removing Front Corner Window Pane

Information 

• The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment. 
• The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant. 
• Some steps must be carried out automatically. 
• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. 

1. Loosen front corner window pane on inside of door.
   1. 1.1  Disengage door control unit -1-  at the door inner panel and set it aside with lines connected.
      • WM, 577319 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT DOOR CONTROL UNIT
   2. 1.2  Remove adhesive pad -2-  .
   3. 1.3  Guide rubber sleeve -3-  out of the door inner panel.
   4. 1.4  Unscrew and remove screws -4-  .

2. Loosen front corner window pane on outside of door.
   1. 2.1  Unscrew screw -1-  .
   2. 2.2  Carefully slide front corner window pane -2-  to the rear -arrow-  .

3. Swivel front corner window pane -1-  inwards -arrow A-  and guide front corner window pane -1-  with window guide up out of the door -arrow B-  .
