Installing Front Seat
WARNING:
Incorrect handling of safety bolts
- Danger of injury
- Loss of torque
- → Always use new screws or nuts following removal.
- → Comply with instructions for repairs.
- → Observe specified tightening torques.
- → Carry out a visual inspection of parts used.

- Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle or a similar component.
- Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well.
Information
Always replace the fastening screws on the front seat after customer service and reworking. The micro-self-locking or self-tapping screws must not be treated, greased or loosened and then screwed on again.
- Fit front seat in the vehicle and tilt it backwards.

The number of electric plug connections can vary, depending on equipment.
- Plug in electric plug connections for driver seat -1, 2 and 3-

- Fold the front seat forward -arrow A-
and align it with the centring pins on the seat frame -arrow B-

- Connect the battery
- Move the front seat all the way back. Screw in new
front fastening screws -4-
only until the seat rails are touching the seat frame.

- Move the front seat all the way forward and secure it to the rear seat frame with the new
fastening screws -2-
. > Tightening - torque 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)

- Carefully fit the rear caps -1-

- Move the front seat all the way back and secure it to the front seat frame by tightening the new
fastening screws -4-
to > Tightening - torque 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)

- Fit the front caps -3-

Information
Do not twist the three-point belt during installation!
- Install seat belt mount.

NOTIFICATION
Incorrect handling of spring plate on seat belt mount
- The seat belt must be replaced.
- → Only bend the spring plate up as far as required to allow you to push the seat belt mount off the mounting pin.
- → The spring plate must be touching the mounting pin during installation with preload.
- 10.1 Position seat belt mount -2- on the retaining pin -4- and pull upward until the retaining clip -3- locks with an audible click.
- 10.2 Pull on the belt strap. The retaining clip -3- must engage fully on the holder.
- 10.3 Push the cap -1- over the seat belt mount -2- and lock it. The label on the seat belt must be pushed into the cap when you push the cover down.
- The seat belt must be replaced.
