NOTIFICATION
Incorrect handling of spring plate on seat belt mount
- The seat belt must be replaced.
→ Only bend the spring plate up as far as required to allow you to push the seat belt mount off the mounting pin.
→ The spring plate must be touching the mounting pin during installation with preload.
- Remove seat belt mount -2-
.
Seat belt mount
- 1.1 Move front seat forward.
- 1.2 Disengage cap -1- and slide it over the seat belt mount -2- .
- 1.3 Release retaining clip -3- on the seat belt mount -2- using a suitable tool.
- 1.4 Push seat belt mount -2- over the retaining pin -4- until the locking lug under the retaining pin -4- loosens the retaining clip -3- .
- 1.5 Remove seat belt mount -2- from the retaining pin -4- .
- Remove upper part of B-pillar trim panel -2- .

- 2.1 Set seat-belt height adjustment -1- to the lowest position.
- 2.2 Unclip upper part of B-pillar trim panel -2- at the clips -3- in the lower area.
- 2.3 Guide belt strap and belt latch out through the upper part of the B-pillar trim panel -2- .
- 2.4 Guide out tabs -4- and remove upper part of B-pillar trim panel -2- .
