Removing A-Pillar Trim Panel

Information 

• The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment. 
• The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant. 
• Some steps must be carried out automatically. 
• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. 

1. Remove A-pillar trim panel -3-  .

A-pillar trim panel

1. 1.1 Unclip cover -1-  in direction of -arrow A-  .
2. 1.2 Unscrew screw -2-  .
3. 1.3 Unclip A-pillar trim panel -3-  on the A-pillar. Make sure that the clips -4-  are loosened completely from the A-pillar.
4. 1.4 Guide A-pillar trim panel -3-  in direction of -arrow B-  out of the dashboard mounting -5-  .
