Installing Rear-View Mirror

  1. Install rear-view mirror -4-  .

    Removing rear-view mirror

    1. 1.1  Tie cord to wire harness -6-  .
    2. 1.2  Pull wire harness for rear-view mirror -6-  partially into the door using the cord.
    3. 1.3  Position rear-view mirror -4-  in the door aperture.
    4. 1.4  Pull wire harness for rear-view mirror -6-  fully into the door using the cord.
    5. 1.5  Detach the cord.
    6. 1.6  Position rubber seal for wire harness -2-  in the opening.
    7. 1.7  Check that the rubber seal -2-  is seated correctly.
    8. 1.8  Tighten screw on rear-view mirror -5-  to > Tightening - torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)  .
    9. 1.9  Connect and lock electric plug connections -1-  .

      Information 

      The adhesive pad cannot be pulled off without damaging it and must always be replaced.

    10. 1.10  Securely affix new adhesive pad -3-  .
      1. 1.10.1  Position adhesive pad -3-  so that the assembly opening is completely covered.
      2. 1.10.2  Press on adhesive pad -3-  firmly.
