Making Ground Connection Using A Rivet Nut

Drill a hole. > Diameter 4 mm

Remove dirt and primer using an end brush > 9399/3 - end brush .

Removing primer
Drill out the bore. > Diameter 11 mm

De-burr the bore on both sides.
Fit and tighten blind rivet nut. > BLIND RIVET NUT 999.500.196.01 > V.A.G 1765C - Pop Rivet Nut Pliers

Tightening blind rivets
Screw on components using a countersunk screw. > COUNTERSUNK SCREW 999.073.549.01
Tighten threaded joint to the specified torque. > Tightening torque 15 (11 ftlb.) Nm
