Removing Rear Lid Hinge

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle or a similar component. 
• Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well. 

Information 

Use a marking pen to mark the position of accessories with respect to each other before removal in order to reduce the amount of adjustment work required for gaps and joints.

1. Two people are needed for removing the rear lid hinge.
   1. 1.1  One person to support the rear lid.
   2. 1.2  Another person to remove the rear lid hinge.
2. Unscrew screws -1-  on the rear lid hinge.

3. Unscrew nut -1-  on the inner rear lid hinge.

4. Pull rear lid hinge up and remove it.
