Adjusting Rear Lid
Information
- Adjust gap dimensions on lid and accessories in accordance with the gap specifications.
- Given a clearance in the opening that is too great or too small, the accessories must be centred with respect to the body.
- Ensure that the gaps do not run in a wedge-shaped fashion or do not narrow at local points.
- The given values are guidelines, which should be observed as far as possible.
- The guidelines apply to repair work a nd assembly work.
- Use star gauges to check the gap dimensions. > VAS 6937 - Adjusting.gauge
