Removing Rear Boot Floor Plate

Information 

Loosen connection points on one side only. Do not damage the sheet-metal panel underneath.

1. Drill out spotwelds using > VAS 882 001 - spotweld remover  .

   Spotwelds

   1. 1.1  Only drill the spotwelds -LHD vehicle - through one plate thickness. 
   2. 1.2  Drill out spotwelds -RHD vehicle - through two plate thicknesses. 
2. Heat bonding areas using > V.A.G 1416 - hot-air blower  .
3. Remove rear trunk floor panel.
