Removing outer B-pillar

Information 

Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.

Information 

Loosen connection points on one side only. Do not damage the sheet-metal panel underneath.

Information 

Mark cuts E, F and G  in accordance with the new part. Make sure to leave an overlap of approx. 3 cm with respect to the body.

1. Mark and make cuts.

   > Distance 23 mm 

   > Distance 75 mm 

   > Distance 120 mm

2. Drill out spotwelds using > VAS 882 001 - spot-weld breaker  .

3. Heat bonding area using > V.A.G 1416 - hot-air blower  .

4. Remove B-pillar.
