Removing Windscreen-Washer Reservoir

1. Remove filler neck -1-  .

   1. 1.1 Unscrew fastening screws -2-  .
   2. 1.2 Pull filler neck -1-  out of the windscreen-washer reservoir -Arrow-  and remove it.
2. Remove windscreen-washer reservoir -1-  .

   Windscreen-washer reservoir

   1. 2.1 Unscrew fastening screws -2-  .
   2. 2.2 Pull windscreen-washer reservoir -1-  out of the guides -4-  on the A-pillar and remove it under the wing.
   3. 2.3 Remove hoses and lines -3-  from the guides at the windscreen-washer reservoir -1-  .
3. Release and disconnect electric plug connections.

   Electric plug connections

   1. 3.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  at the fill level sensor.
   2. 3.2 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2-  on the windscreen-washer pump.
4. Release windscreen washer system hoses -1-  at the windscreen-washer pump -arrows A-  and pull them off. Collect any fluid that leaks out in a suitable container.

5. Remove windscreen-washer reservoir.
6. Check condition and correct seating of rubber mountings -1-  and the seal -2-  on the windscreen-washer reservoir -3-  . Replace rubber mountings -1-  and seal -2-  if necessary.

7. When replacing the windscreen-washer reservoir -3-  :

Seals

1. 7.1 Prise sender for washer fluid-level indicator -1-  out of the windscreen-washer reservoir -3-  .
2. 7.2 Lever windscreen-washer pump -2-  out of the windscreen-washer reservoir -3-  .
3. 7.3 Prise seals -4-  out of the windscreen-washer reservoir -3-  and check their condition. Replace seals -4-  if necessary.
