Removing Front Power Windows

  1. Remove cover -2-  .
    1. 1.1  Guide out rubber seal -1-  at the cover -2-  .
    2. 1.2  Guide out wire harness -3-  at the brackets for the cover -2-  .
    3. 1.3  Unclip cover -2-  on front door inner panel, guide out door release cable at the cover -2-  and remove cover -2-  .

  2. Slide front door window glass -1-  down until the mountings -4-  are accessible through the cut-outs in the door inner panel.

  3. Loosen front door window glass -1-  at the front power windows mechanism.
    1. 3.1  Actuate locking mechanism -2-  and remove limit stop -3-  at the front rower windows mechanism.
    2. 3.2  Move front door window glass -1-  down until the locking mechanism -5-  is accessible.
    3. 3.3  Actuate locking mechanism -5-  using a suitable tool -arrow A-  and carefully lift the front door window glass -1- (-arrow B-)  .
    4. 3.4  Pull front door window glass -1-  completely up -arrow B-  out of the mountings -4-  .

  4. Slide front door window glass -1-  up completely and secure it to prevent it from falling down.

  5. Remove stoppers at the top of the door shell.
  6. Unscrew nuts

    Front power windows mechanism

  7. Guide out front power windows mechanism at the top and remove it through the opening in the door shell.
