Removing (Central) Headlight Control Unit

NOTIFICATION 

Voltage peaks 

• Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 

  → Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

1. Switch off ignition and pull remote control out of ignition lock.
2. Remove (central) headlight control unit -1-  from the holder.

   Removing (central) headlight control unit

   1. 2.1 Press back locking lug on the holder -2-  using a plastic wedge.
   2. 2.2 Carefully lift up (central) headlight control unit at the left and pull it out of the right tab -3-  on the holder.
3. Release clip -1-  (-a-  ), swivel it aside -b-  and remove electric plug connection from the (central) headlight control unit -2-  .

Disconnect the electric plug connection
