Disassembling Basic Headlights - ECE

1. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  and remove cover -2-  .

2. Remove light bulb control unit for basic headlights.

   > 945819 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING LIGHT BULB CONTROL UNIT 

3. Remove headlight ventilation component.

   > 941555 - REMOVING AND INSTALLING HEADLIGHT VENTILATION COMPONENT 

   Information 

   Avoid sawing to prevent plastic particles from getting into the inside of the basic headlight (ECE).

4. Carefully cut open basic headlight (ECE) along the marked area.

5. Remove inner cover -2-  .

   Inner cover

   1. 5.1 Adjust basic headlight (ECE) if necessary until all latches -1-  on the inner cover -2-  are accessible.
   2. 5.2 Release catches -1-  and remove inner cover -2-  .
6. Pull out fan -1-  (-Arrow-  ).
