Removing Transmission
WARNING:
Danger of objects or loads falling down
- Risk of squashing or crushing
→ Secure components to prevent them from falling down.
- Detach cable duct -1-
for the B+ line on the transmission.
- 1.1 Unscrew three external Torx screws (M6 x 16) -2- . Lay cable duct aside.

- Disconnect cable plug -3-
for pulse sender -1-

- Disconnect vacuum line -1-
on the valve block -2-

- Disconnect coolant hoses -2-
at the coolant collection unit.
- 4.1 Remove spring clamps -1- on the plug-in couplings and pull off hoses.
- 4.2 Re-fit spring clamps.
- 4.3 Check O-rings for damage and replace them if necessary.

- Remove transmission bracket (if not yet removed).
- 5.1 Unscrew screw (M12 x 140) with collar nut and remove transmission bracket from the bearing.
- Secure the transmission -2-
with lifting straps -1-
.
- 6.1 >VAS 6100 - Workshop Crane must be ready.
- 6.2 Fit restraining straps as shown in the illustration.

NOTE: Mechanical overload of components- Component will be damaged irreparably
→ Observe guidelines for assembly and disassembly
- Remove transmission.
- 7.1 Unscrew and remove screws -1 and 2- .
- 7.2 Unscrew and remove screws -3 to 6- .
Flange screws
- Remove transmission using the workshop crane.
