Installing Shift And Selector Cables

Information 

Shift and selector cables must not be bent or kinked.

Information 

• The assembly and transport sleeves that are fitted on the adjustment pins of the shift cable must not be removed until just before you engage the adjustment pins in the gearshift bracket.

Information 

• Route shift and selector cables above the transmission support.

Information 

When installing the shift and selector cables, the transmission must be moved into neutral.

1. Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
   1. 1.1 Coat rubber sleeve with tyre mounting paste for installation.
   2. 1.2 Check that the ball joints and shift and selector cables are fitted securely at the support brackets.
