Installing ATF Pan
Information
- Aluminium screws must always be replaced.
- Aluminium screws must be secured using the yield-strength procedure.
- To ensure that the screws are tightened uniformly, the specified tightening setting "light, medium or hard" must be used.
- The threshold torque (initial tightening) must be set on the >9768 - electronic torque wrench from 2 - 100 Nm (1.5 - 74 ftlb.) when tightening using the yield-strength procedure.
- Install new ATF pan -14-
.
- 1.1 Convert oil pipe at screw plug position or replace it if necessary.
- 1.2 Fit ATF pan -14- using new screws -1 to 13- .
- 1.3 Tighten screws according to the tightening sequence -1 to 13-
.
> Initial tightening 3 Nm (2.2 ftlb.)
> Final tightening 60°
