Installing Transmission Support

1. 1.1 Position transmission support -1-  with the arrow marking in direction of travel.
2. 1.2 Fit nuts -2-  , but do not tighten yet.

Information 

Check that the side stops are seated correctly. The arrow must be pointing forward.

1. 2.1 Fit and tighten nuts -2-  .

   > Initial tightening 30 Nm (22.1 ftlb.) 

   > Torque angle 60° 

2. 2.2 Fit and tighten screws -4-  .

   > Initial tightening 30 Nm (22.1 ftlb.) 

   > Torque angle 60°

Transmission bracket

1. 3.1 Tighten nuts -2-  .

   > Initial tightening 30 Nm (22.1 ftlb.) 

   > Torque angle 60°

Transmission support

Information 

Carefully pull down trailing arm to position screws.

1. 4.1 Fit and tighten new  screw -2-  .

   > Initial tightening 70 Nm (51.6 ftlb.) 

   > Final tightening + 180° 

2. 4.2 Fit and tighten new  screw -3-  .

   > Initial tightening 70 Nm (51.6 ftlb.) 

   > Final tightening + 180°

Rear axle carrier

Secure mounting plate for rear cardan shaft mounting -1-  .

1. 5.1 Fit and tighten new  screws -2-  .

   > Initial tightening 40 Nm (30 ftlb.) 

   > Torque angle 45°

Secure connecting link -1-  .

1. 6.1 Fit and tighten new  nut -2-  and counter at the articulated bolt on the connecting link.

   > Initial tightening 50 Nm (36.9 ftlb.) 

   > Final tightening angle + 50 (37 ftlb.) °

Connecting link (PDCC)

Secure connecting link -1-  .

1. 7.1 Fit and tighten new  nut -2-  and counter at the articulated bolt on the connecting link.

   > Initial tightening 40 Nm (29.5 ftlb.) 

   > Final tightening + 30°

Connecting link (conventional)

1. 8.1 Fit and tighten new  nut and screw -2-  .

   > Initial tightening 70 Nm (51.6 ftlb.) 

   > Final tightening + 180°
