Removing Double Clutch Transmission
CAUTION:
Heavy components
- Risk of squashing
→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Get someone to help if necessary.
- Disconnect vacuum line -1-
from disc valve.

- Loosen cable duct for battery positive cable (B+ line) -4-
on the double clutch transmission.
- 2.1 Unscrew screws -2 and 3- . Move cable duct with B+ line -4- aside.

- Disconnect cable plug -1-
for pulse sender.

- Pull off coolant hoses.
- 4.1 Remove spring clamps -Arrows- on the plug-in couplings and pull off hoses -1- .
- 4.2 Re-fit spring clamps.
- 4.3 Check O-rings for damage and replace them if necessary.

→ Observe guidelines for assembly and disassembly
Information
- The splines of the transmission shaft must be removed completely from the flywheel before tipping off the transmission.
- If this is not done, the diaphragm spring on the flywheel will be damaged and the flywheel must be replaced.

Replace flange screws if necessary.
- Component will be damaged irreparably
- Remove double clutch transmission.
- 6.1 First unscrew screws -1 and 2-
, then screws -3 to 6-

- 6.2 Replace screws if necessary (thread damage, corrosion)!
- 6.3 Pull double clutch transmission away from the engine until the transmission shaft is separated completely from the flywheel splines.
