Mounting Double Clutch Transmission
CAUTION:
Heavy components
- Risk of squashing
→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Get someone to help if necessary.
Information
- Check the diaphragm spring on the flywheel for mechanical damage before installing it.
- A damaged flywheel must not be installed!
- Check whether input shaft is fitted with a circlip on the double clutch shaft splines. If not:
- 1.1 Coat shaft splines -3- with Longtime 3EP .
- 1.2 Carefully fit input shaft -1- until the circlip -2- clips into place -arrow- .

- Check diaphragm spring -1-
on the flywheel for damage.
There must be no dents or mechanical damage!
- 2.1 The flywheel must be replaced if the diaphragm spring is damaged -arrow- .

NOTE: Mechanical overload of components- Component will be damaged irreparably
→ Observe guidelines for assembly and disassembly
Information
Replace flange screws if necessary.
- Fit double clutch transmission.
- 3.1 Fit and tighten screws -3 to 6- .
- 3.2 Fit screws -1 and 2- .
- 3.3 Tighten all screws.
> Tightening torque 85 Nm (62.7 ftlb.)
- 3.4 Remove workshop crane and gear support.

- The coolant hoses must lock with an audible click when pushed into the plug-in couplings.
- Connect coolant hoses -1-
.
- 4.1 Lock coolant hoses onto the plug-in couplings -Arrows- . Pull to check that the connection is secure.

- Connect cable plug -1-
for pulse sender.

- Fit cable duct -4-
for B+ line -1-
.
- 6.1 Position cable duct with B+ line and fit and tighten screws -2 and 3-
.
Screws -2- : >Tightening torque 13 Nm (9.6 ftlb.)
Screw -3- : >Tightening torque 40 Nm (29.5 ftlb.)
