Removing Transmission Control Unit

Information 

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

• Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work. 
• Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation. 
• Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts. 

1. Release the transmission control unit support -2-  .
   1. 1.1 Unclip line bracket -1-  from the transmission control unit holder -2-  .
   2. 1.2 Unscrew fastening screw -3-  .
   3. 1.3 Remove expanding clips -4-  .

   Make sure not to damage the expanding clips -3-  .

2. Raise the transmission control unit support -1-  and release and remove electric plug connection -2-  .

3. When replacing the transmission control unit:

   Remove transmission control unit -3-  from holder -1-  .

   1. 3.1 Carefully open locking mechanisms -2-  on the holder -1-  .
   2. 3.2 Push transmission control unit -3-  forward out of the holder -1-  .
