Test Prerequisites

Emergency programme must not be activated.
Electrical loads, lights and air conditioning are switched off.
Vehicle is horizontal on the lifting platform.
Selector lever is engaged in position P and parking brake is actuated.
PIWIS Tester is connected for reading out the transmission temperature and engine speed.

Information

To ensure that the transmission is filled correctly, the vehicle must be horizontal on the lifting platform.

Check and top up ATF.

1.1 >VAS 6622A - Used Oil Collection and Extraction Unit must be placed under the transmission.

1.2 Unscrew screw plug -2- on the adjusting tube.

1.4 Fill in ATF slowly at the filler bore using >VAS 6563 - Manual metering pumps, Porsche set until ATF emerges at the adjusting tube .

Connect the PIWIS Tester to the vehicle, start it and then switch on ignition.
Start the diagnostic software.
Select Transmission electronics (PDKII) control unit.
Select the Maintenance/repairs tab.
Information

Before starting the "oil filling" procedure using the PIWIS Tester, fill a hand pump fully with ATF and have it ready.
Select Oil filling with F12.
Follow the instructions on the Tester.
Top up ATF.
1. 8.1 Unscrew oil filler screw -1- .
2. 8.2 Fill in ATF slowly at the filler bore using >VAS 6563 - Manual metering pumps, Porsche set until ATF emerges at the adjusting tube .

As soon as the oil thread on the adjusting tube breaks off, screw in and tighten the screw plug -2- .
> Tightening torque 16.5 Nm (12.2 ftlb.)

> Tightening torque 27 Nm (19.9 ftlb.)
