Preliminary Work

• The ignition must be switched on in order to check and adjust the wheel alignment of vehicles with rear-axle steering correctly. This has the effect of blocking the tie rods (rear-axle regulator) in the correct position.
• Connect a battery charger to ensure that no undervoltage occurs.
• To check and set the wheel alignment on vehicles with front axle lift correctly, the vehicle must be lowered during alignment.

Information 

Toe difference angle and caster cannot be adjusted. 

1. Prepare vehicle for checking or adjusting wheel alignment values. Place front wheels on turntable and rear wheels on rotary/sliding plates.
2. Compress the vehicle as far as possible (by a few millimetres) at front and rear axles twice or three times and allow it to spring back freely.
