Installing Valve Block (Front)

NOTE: Incorrect line routing 
  • Risk of damage to lines and hoses 
  • Malfunction and fault memory entry on control unit 

    → Avoid small bending radii when routing lines.

    → File down edges and burrs in the routing area or mask them with adhesive tape.

    → Maintain a sufficient distance from components exposed to high temperatures while driving.

  1. Fit valve block (front).

    Valve block mounting (front)

    1. 1.1 Push valve block adapter -1-  onto longitudinal member.
    2. 1.2 Push foam part -2-  onto valve block adapter -1-  .
    3. 1.3 Push valve block bearing -3-  onto valve block adapter -1-  .
    4. 1.4 Position valve block -4-  on valve block bearing -3-  .
    5. 1.5 Tighten screw -2-  . >Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

  2. Connect and lock electric plug connection -1-  on the valve block (front) -2-  .

  3. Fit hydraulic lines -1-  on the valve block -2-  .

    Hydraulic lines on valve block (front)

    1. 3.1 Remove stoppers.
    2. 3.2 Assign hydraulic lines according to markings (see information on "Removing").
    3. 3.3 Insert hydraulic lines until they engage securely.
    4. 3.4 Tighten screw -3-  on the holder. >Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) 
  4. Insert foam part -1-  .
