Fit tie rod on the power-steering gear.

Secure tie rod -2-
at the octagon using > V.A.G 1923 - Open end spanner insert, a/f 38-1-
. > Tightening torque 105 Nm (77.4 ftlb.) +/- 5 Nm (3.7 ftlb.)
