Installing Steering Column Lower Part

Steering column lower part and sealing sleeve

1. 1.1  Guide steering column lower part -2-  into the bore on the firewall.
2. 1.2  Align sealing sleeve -1-  in accordance with the markings -3-  and secure it to the firewall.

Bottom joint on steering column

1. 2.1  Tighten -2-  screw. > Pre-tightening 20 Nm (14.8 ftlb.) > Final tightening + 90°
