Installing Steering Column

  1. Fit steering column -5-  on dashboard bracket.

    Steering column mounting

    1. 1.1  Tighten nuts in the sequence -1 to 4-  . > Tightening torque 25 Nm (18.4 ftlb.) 
  2. Connect and lock electric plug connection -1-  at the top of the steering column -2-  .

    1. 2.1  Secure bracket -3-  .
  3. Connect and lock electric plug connection -1-  at the left of the steering column -2-  .

  4. Fit bottom joint -1-  on steering column.

    1. 4.1  Tighten screw -2-  . > Pre-tightening 20 Nm (14.8 ftlb.) > Final tightening + 90°
