Preliminary Work

  1. Loosen ground strap for battery.

    > 978509 LOOSENING AND SECURING GROUND STRAP FOR BATTERY 

  2. Remove headlights at the left and right.

    941519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HEADLIGHTS

  3. Disconnect main wire harness in front-end.

    970909 LOOSENING AND SECURING MAIN WIRE HARNESS IN FRONT-END 

  4. Remove front side-section trim panel at the left and right.

    Refer to WM, 702419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SIDE-SECTION TRIM PANEL

  5. Remove inner door sill trim at the left and right

    680519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING INNER DOOR SILL TRIM

  6. Remove pedals completely.

    460519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING BRAKE PEDAL

  7. Remove centre console (lower part).

    68171905 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CENTRE CONSOLE (LOWER PART)
