Removing Wiring For Power Seats

1. Release and disconnect electric plug connection for seat adjustment motor.

   Refer to WM, 728719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING MOTOR FOR SEAT ADJUSTMENT

2. Release and disconnect electric plug connection for seat occupancy detection.

   695619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING SEAT OCCUPANCY DETECTION SYSTEM

3. Release and disconnect electric plug connections for backrest wiring at the connection point.

   > 975619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WIRING FOR FRONT-SEAT BACKREST 

4. Release and disconnect electric plug connections for seat-surface extension.

   Refer to WM, 740819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT-SURFACE EXTENSION

5. Release and disconnect electric plug connection for seat-belt buckle.
6. Unclip fixing clip -1-  and pull section of line for seat-surface extension -2-  down through the seat frame -arrow-  .

7. Unclip fixing clips -1-  from section of line for seat-belt buckle -2-  and guide section of line for seat-belt buckle -2-  down through the seat frame -arrow-  .

8. Release and disconnect electric plug connection for seat adjustment sensor -1-  and loosen and remove fixing clip -2-  .

9. Loosen and remove fixing clip -1-  , -2-  and -3-  .

14. Remove ground line -3-  .
    1. 14.1 Release and unplug electric plug connection -1-  .
    2. 14.2 Screw off fastening nut -2-  .
    3. 14.3 Remove ground line -3-  .

15. Disconnect electric plug connections for wire harness connection -1-  and -2-  from the holder.

16. Release and disconnect electric plug connections at connection point for line -1-  , -2-  and -3-  and push them out of the holders -arrow-  .
