Removing Wire Harness For Front Apron

Information 

The front apron wire harness is made up of two separate parts (left and right).

Information 

The removal and installation steps are described for the left front apron wire harness.

The procedure for removing and installing the right wire harness is identical.

1. Release electric plug connection -1-  at the side direction indicator light -arrow A-  and disconnect it -arrow B-  .

2. Release electric plug connection for GSM antenna -1-  (-arrows A-  ) and disconnect it -arrow B-  .

3. Release electric plug connection for ParkAssist sensors -1-  (-arrow A-  ) and disconnect it -arrow B-  .

4. Only for vehicles with KESSY: 

   Release electric plug connection -1-  for proximity sensor by pressing in the lock -arrow A-  and disconnect it -arrow B-  .

5. Release electric plug connection for cooling-air flap motor -1-  (-arrow A-  ) and disconnect it -arrow B-  .

6. Loosen fastening clamps -1-  and unclip wire harness for front apron from retaining clips -2-  .
